Georgia Southern University

Anna and I left Peachtree City on Monday in the "Soccer Mom" Phi Mu mini-van to head to Statesboro, GA where we spent the week at Georgia Southern University with the Kappa Mu chapter.

When we got off the interstate we soon realized we were out in the middle of nowhere! We desperatly searched for a "nice" gas station where we could make a pit stop. About 15 miles down the road, we found one. It was our first expierience in an outdoor bathroom-- eek!!

After being lost for a good while, we finally found Greek Row. It was GORGEOUS!!!! We came upon the Phi Mu house, the very last one on the row- and all the girls were standing out in the front lawn getting ready to practice their lines!

We met Martha-Collins their President, and Allison their Membership Director- and then the rest of the chapter. They were so cute and lots of fun to be around! Each day for lunch and dinner we had 2 different girls take us out to eat at local places around Statesboro. They were all really nice and it was great to get to know some of the girls on a more personal level.

We mainly helped out with their Recruitment Workshop, and assisted the Membership Director and the rest of the Selection Board with any questions that they had for us. The last night we stayed up until 1am in their computer room talking with some of the girls. We some how ended up talking about Ghost stories........ talk about being scared. I could barley go to sleep that night!

And before we knew it, it was Friday! Anna and I headed back to Peachtree City early that morning. We made it through our first chapter visit!!!

Next stop for me.... Georgia State University.
