Dynamic Dozen

Well, we went from 8, to 9, to 10, to 12 Chapter Consultants! Phi Mu is HOT this year in extension, and we have the largest team of consultants yet getting ready to head out to Phi Mu America next week! Everyone around the Headquarters are reffering to us as the "Dynamic Dozen"

For the past week I have been "living" in the Dolce Hotel in Peachtree City, GA with my rooomate, Tasha from Texas! It's been so cool getting to know all these girls from all over the country. This week I will be roommates with Melanie, from Virginia- who I also roomed with when we came for our interview in January.

Our days have been spent at the beautiful Phi Mu Castle, aka, Headquarters! We have had lots of special guests come in from all over to teach us everything there is to know about Extension, and Membership--- so far! We also had a photo shoot for Phi Mu's magazine, The Agalia! You can check out our profiles on the Phi Mu Website, but be on the lookout for the Fall 2009 publication!

On Saturday we took a special trip to Macon, GA on a history tour of the Cannonball House, where lots of cool Phi Mu memorabilia are stored near Mercer University. After that we went to visit one of our founders, Martha Hardaway Redding's grave (sounds creepy, but it was SO COOL!) and we also went to Wesleyan College campus where Phi Mu was founded!

So, now what you have all been waiting for! My first consultant visits are planned and set! First, Anna (from Mississippi) and I both go to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro to help with the Recruitment workshops for a few days! I am so relieved that Anna is coming with me for this first visit, it will be good to have another consultant there to "consult" with!! :-) Next I will be heading to Georgia State University near Atlanta for my first visit by myself! After I am done there, I go to the University of Georgia for their whole recruitment week!!! I am so pumped to see this big production. From what I hear, they already have 1300 women signed up! Dang. This is going to be awesome!!

And of coarse, I can't wait for Carolina on August 14th!!!! It's going to be a blasssst with my roomie, Christa from Florida!!

Time for bed.... I am not used to waking up early, showering, putting on make-up, and actually putting on "real clothes"!!! BUT it is A LOT of fun, doesn't feel like "work" at all, and that is exactly the kind of job I will always want--- one that I LOVE to go to everyday. :-)
